Tandoori Marinade

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ red onion, diced
  • ¼ cup red pepper, diced
  • 1 tbsp Patak’s®; Tandoori Marinade
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 ½ cup cooked lentils (if canned, drain well)
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat a small pan over medium heat and add the oil.
  2. Add the onions and peppers, and sauté for 2 to 4 min until soft.
  3. Mix in the Patak’s®; Tandoori Marinade and stir well.
  4. Add the lentils and cook another 3 to 5 min. Remove from heat and let cool in a serving bowl. Add the lemon juice and stir.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve with fluffy basmati rice or warm naan.
