Grilled Tofu Tikka Masala with Oven Roasted Potatoes

Every time we take a mouthful of this deliciously creamy and flavoursome dish, we remember all over again why it is so beloved.

INGREDIENTS

FOR TOFU

  • 1 package of firm tofu, cubed
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 package of Patak’s® Tikka Masala Sauce for Two
  • ¼ cup of corn starch
  • fresh cilantro for garnish

FOR POTATOES

  • 3-4 small potatoes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh cilantro for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Tofu

  1. Preheat a pan to medium heat with oil. Remove tofu from the package and drain off the water.
  2. Put it on top of a paper towel and cover with another towel.
  3. Add ginger and half a package of Patak’s® Tikka Masala Sauce for Two. Heat for 5-10 min and set aside.
  4. Coat tofu with corn starch.
  5. Pan-fry the tofu in another heated skillet for few minutes.
  6. Transfer the tofu in the sauce skillet and stir slowly. Garnish with cilantro.

Potatoes

  1. In a large bowl, combine oil, garlic and parsley; add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Coat the potatoes.
  3. Roast for 20-30 min until golden brown.
