This classic street food dish is the perfect starter for any curry night in. These moreish, crispy sweetcorn bites with a hint of spice from our Tikka Masala Paste are delicious—one is never enough!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can (432 g) corn, drained and chopped
  • ½ block (200 g) paneer, grated
  • 1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped (optional)
  • 3 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • ½ cup Patak’s® Tikka Masala Spice Paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tsp chaat masala (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven at 350 °F (180 °C).
  2. Mix together all the ingredients, except the chaat masala.
  3. Shape into patties and refrigerate for 20 to 30 min.
  4. Cook in preheated oven for 8 to 10 min.
  5. Sprinkle the chaat masala over the patties.
  6. Serve hot with mint and coriander chutney.
