As one of our spicier curries, the Madras Spice Paste and beef complement each other to make a wonderful flavour-packed dish. Served with the fluffiest rice and a wedge of warm naan, this is comfort food at its finest.

Madras Spice Paste

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 tbsp Patak’s® Madras Spice Paste
  • 250 g beef, diced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup water
  • Coriander chopped (garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium pan, heat the oil and fry the onion.
  2. Stir in Patak’s® Madras Spice Paste and the beef.
  3. Cook for 3 min to sear the meat.
  4. Add the tomatoes and water, mix well and cover.
  5. Simmer for 40 min or until the meat is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with coriander and serve with rice or naan.
