As one of our spicier curries, the Madras Spice Paste and beef complement each other to make a wonderful flavour-packed dish. Served with the fluffiest rice and a wedge of warm naan, this is comfort food at its finest.
RECIPE CALLS FOR
Madras Spice Paste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 4 tbsp Patak’s® Madras Spice Paste
- 250 g beef, diced
- 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
- ½ cup water
- Coriander chopped (garnish)
- In a medium pan, heat the oil and fry the onion.
- Stir in Patak’s® Madras Spice Paste and the beef.
- Cook for 3 min to sear the meat.
- Add the tomatoes and water, mix well and cover.
- Simmer for 40 min or until the meat is cooked through.
- Garnish with coriander and serve with rice or naan.
